Today, Representative María Elvira Salazar ( FL-27 ) sent President Biden a letter expressing his firm opposition to the United States Government providing any type of aid to the regime from Cuba.

Recent news reports that the regime has approached the Biden Administration requesting help as a result of Hurricane Ian. 

"Our laws are designed to prohibit US tax dollars from flowing into the bank accounts of Terrorism Sponsoring States like Cuba", representative Salazar said.

"Giving aid to a Terrorism Sponsoring State would be immoral and dangerous. We know that any potential aid will not be used to help the Cuban people, but will further finance cruelty to those who are protesting bravely on the streets. The help that the Cuban people need is the support of the US Government to these protests and Internet connectivity", Congresswoman Salazar added.
