Goffstown, NH - Granite State Small Businessman Chuck Morse released the following statement following the first U.S. Senate Primary Debate hosted by New Hampshire Journal:
“I’d like to thank the New Hampshire Journal for hosting this forum tonight - it was a great opportunity to let voters hear what we plan to do when we get to the United States Senate. Everyone who took part in the forum talked about cutting taxes, giving parents more control over their children’s education, and protecting the unborn.”
“The difference between me and them is I’ve actually done it. We passed the most conservative and fiscally responsible budget in our state’s history. We cut taxes and provided more than $500 million in property tax relief. For years people talked about increasing school choice. Last year we passed education freedom accounts that allow parents to choose the best educational path for their children. We also made it clear that the teaching of racism and discrimination has no place in our classrooms. Our public schools should be teaching the ABC’s not CRT. Everyone who took part in the forum tonight would make a better Senator than Maggie Hassan, but none of them have the record that I do of putting conservative principles to work. I want to take the same approach to Washington - I’ll do things the 603 way, not the Washington way.”
