Today, Congresswoman María Elvira Salazar (FL-27) condemned the Ortega regime in a speech on the Floor of the United States House of Representatives and called on our international partners to sanction his daughter, Camila Ortega Murillo, who was recently sanctioned by the United States for corruption.
The brutal Ortega regime has embarked on a violent crackdown that has led to the arrest of four major opposition candidates, the suppression of independent media outlets, and the silencing of any and every dissenting voice. This is part of Ortega's pathetic plot to steal the upcoming presidential election scheduled for November 7, 2021.
