REP. SALAZAR ANNOUNCES NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS GRANTS

Today, Congresswoman Salazar (FL-27) is proud to announce that Florida's 27th Congressional district has been awarded $279,000 in grant funding from the National Endowment for Arts (NEA) — more than any other Congressional district in the state of Florida!

"Our local artists play fundamental part across our community. In fact, there is no Miami without the arts" said Congresswoman Salazar. "During these unprecedented times, our artists have gone above and beyond with their infinite creativity. I am so proud that our community received more grant funding than any other Congressional district in the state of Florida!"

The 11 grant recipients in Florida's 27th Congressional district include:

  • Miami City Ballet, Inc.
  • New World Symphony, Inc
  • Guitars Over Guns Organization, Inc
  • Ms. Leslie Sainz
  • Thomas Armour Youth Ballet Inc.
  • Edge Zones
  • Friends of the Bass Museum, Inc. (aka Bass Museum of Art)
  • FUNDarte, Inc.
  • IFCM CORP (aka Filmgate Interactive)
  • Rhythm Foundation, Inc.
  • South Florida Art Center, Inc.
 

Congresswoman Salazar represent Florida's beautiful 27th Congressional district which includes most of the City of Miami, its suburbs, and the beaches. She currently serves on the Small Business Committee and the Committee on Foreign Affairs.
