A new poll released this morning shows the race for Michigan Governor tightening rapidly, with Whitmer's lead down to only two points. Well within the +/- 4.2 margin of error and a statistical tie. RealClearPolitics notes that Dixon trends +2.7 versus historical polling that underestimated the GOP by upwards of 5.7 points.
Tudor Dixon is surging after a strong debate performance on October 13th and in advance of the 2nd debate on October 25th. The four polls released in the last week show the race tightening quickly, averaging Whitmer +3.0, and RCP just moved the race to a "Toss-Up."
