The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) today awarded $2,578,604 to Tri-Area Community Health, based in Laurel Fork, Carroll County, Virginia. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:

“Community health centers provide essential care and medical services to residents in underserved and/or rural areas. This significant grant of more than $2 million will support the work of Tri-Area Community Health and help provide their patients with the care they need.”
