Griffith Inspects Flood Damage In Dickenson And Wise Counties

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) today inspected flood damage in Dickenson and Wise Counties. He issued the following statement:

“Flooding has again devastated parts of our region. I am committed to providing the assistance I can as a Member of Congress, working with Virginia’s U.S. Senators and officials at the state and local level. The residents of the impacted areas can know we will support them in recovery efforts.”

In Dickenson County, Griffith joined County Administrator Larry Barton, Sheriff Jeremy Fleming, and Supervisor Ron Peters for the inspection.

In Wise County, Griffith joined County Administrator Mike Hatfield, Emergency Manager Jessica Sweeney, Sheriff Grant Kilgore, and Virginia House of Delegates Majority Leader Terry Kilgore. He visited the Towns of Pound, Wise, and Coeburn.
