Life is worth protecting. As a proud mother of two children (one biological and one adopted) and the aunt of a niece with Down Syndrome, you can count on me to defend life in the womb! My pro-life positions are paramount to who I am. The science is indisputable that life begins at conception. Amid our cultural chaos, I will remain relentlessly dedicated to promoting a culture of life. I’m a founding board member of a crisis pregnancy home. Dan and I financially support several organizations whose mission is saving babies from abortion and showering young women with love and support. Sometimes this support includes post abortion counselling, another important part of our cause.
In Congress I will proudly support the longstanding and bipartisan Hyde Amendment which ensures federal funds are not used to pay for abortions. The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act and Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act are two proposed bills that need to become law. Both these bills have strong support from Americans, yet they always meet resistance from the Planned Parenthood loyalists on The Left. I will work tirelessly to advance these humanitarian bills that are long overdue.
