Pandemic Lockdown

Virginia

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

Lockdowns, restrictions, and vaccine mandates during the Covid-19 pandemic were an unprecedented infringement on personal liberty and brought America's best economy in half a century to a grinding halt. They devastated small businesses and threw millions of Americans out of work in the name of "safety," and refused to allow Americans to assess and confront risk in the manner they chose. Never again. My opponent supported lockdowns and vaccine mandates that destroyed businesses and forced many Northern Virginians who serve in the military or work for the federal government to choose between their livelihood and medical freedom. Small businesses lost revenue while simultaneously being required to invest in arbitrary mitigation measures that likely had little effect on the spread of Covid-19.
