RALEIGH: Candidate for U.S. Senate Cheri Beasley held a roundtable discussion with small business owners from across Wake County to hear about their experiences and talk about the importance of supporting small businesses in the U.S. Senate. Cheri also held a community conversation with voters in Durham to highlight her commitment to standing up for North Carolina workers and fighting for working families in the Senate.
“Small business owners and working families have been carrying North Carolina forward while politicians up in Washington like Congressman Budd leave us behind. It’s time for that to change, and I’m ready to go to the Senate and fight to address the challenges before us, from expanding access to affordable child care, strengthening our manufacturing and tech sectors, and lowering costs,” said Cheri Beasley.
The campaign is holding stops statewide with events to reach voters across the state, including roundtables focused on hearing from small business owners, community conversations on issues that matter to North Carolinians like lowering costs, supporting North Carolina’s farmers, and creating a Made-in-America economy, tours of vocational and training facilities, North Carolina companies, and more.
