RALEIGH: Candidate for U.S. Senate Cheri Beasley launched her “For the People” Get Out the Vote Tour to meet voters where they are and share what is at stake in this election. In Asheville, Cheri held her first For the People Forum to reach voters who had less access to the one U.S. Senate Debate because Congressman Budd refused to do a free, statewide debate available to all North Carolinians.
Cheri also met with voters in Haywood County and Henderson County and visited a family farm in Yancey County.
“Every time I’m in Western North Carolina folks tell me they’ve felt left behind by Washington as industries leave and costs rise. It’s time for that to change, and I’m committed to being a Senator who represents all of our state,” said Cheri Beasley. “I’m focused on meeting voters where they are across the state to share what’s at stake in this election and my commitment to fighting for the people every day in the U.S. Senate.”
The campaign is holding stops statewide with events to reach voters across the state, including roundtables focused on hearing from small business owners, community conversations on issues that matter to North Carolinians like lowering costs, supporting North Carolina’s farmers, and creating a Made-in-America economy, tours of vocational and training facilities, North Carolina companies, and more.
