"I'm deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my friend Renny Cushing. This is a deeply personal loss for so many who knew him, and my thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time. Renny devoted his life to serving the people of New Hampshire and to making this state and this world a more just and equitable place for all. Even following his diagnosis and treatment, Renny remained active in the work he loved and the causes he championed. His loss leaves a hole in New Hampshire that can never be filled, but we should all take inspiration from his life of service and the legacy he leaves behind."
