NELSON: “Our current budget includes over $8.4 billion in total dollars across 25 state agencies to support mental health. Women’s health funding is at an all-time high in Texas. We have over $350 million in our budget devoted to key preventative health services for women, including family planning.” SEN. NELSON: “Since 2017 Governor Abbott worked with us to provide $1.1 billion to support Texas foster care children.
