I used to package nuts, bolts and other parts for my dad’s shop when I was little. At 12, I had a summer job in a restaurant. By 15 I was working full-time. I turned 21, in Greece, while working in merchandising and video documentation, on a manpowered aircraft that flew from Crete to Santorini. By the time I was about 23, I had worked on over 30 independent films, in various roles behind the scenes including Script Supervisor, Costume Designer and Craft Service.
At 24, I started designing and manufacturing a line of clothing that I sold to top boutiques in Los Angeles, CA. By about 30, I started selling books online. I become one of Amazon’s largest online booksellers and one of their first sellers to move into the international market. I developed several websites, programs and applications to meet my business needs. When we moved abroad to continue my child’s education, I moved the business entirely online. While abroad, I founded a film festival to which I was the director; and was the artistic director of another.
