Since July 2020, Christy has a Federal lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Education and Florida International University, whose purpose is to create a judicial precedent that protects conservative students from being targeted for their political views. In March 2021, Christy initiated and organized a large event featuring General Michael Flynn, Dr. Linda Lee Tarver, and Kimberly Klacik. These patriots were given an opportunity to speak their truth freely and without censorship. Christy was attacked by the mainstream media who attempted to disrupt the event. Christy withstood multiple threats but the event was very successful, and the principle of Freedom of Speech was exalted.
