This morning on WMUR’s Close Up, Don Bolduc said that Granite Staters who are outraged over the push for a nationwide aboriton ban should “get over it.” In response, Senator Maggie Hassan released the following statement:

“First, Don Bolduc told Granite Staters to ‘rejoice’ at the overturning of Roe, and now, when we are threatened with a nationwide abortion ban, he’s telling New Hampshire women to ‘get over it.’ Granite Staters have a clear message for Don Bolduc: we’re not rejoicing over losing our freedom and we’re certainly not going to get over it.”

Watch Don Bolduc tell Granite Staters to “get over it.”

Don Bolduc is running on an extreme, anti-choice agenda and would be a clear yes vote to ban abortion in all fifty states. He has said that he would never vote against anti-choice legislation and that people should “rejoice” at overturning Roe. Bolduc said that New Hampshire’s abortion ban did not go far enough and has spent years calling for defunding Planned Parenthood.
