Governor Ron DeSantis today spoke to a crowd of hometown heroes, including health-care providers, law enforcement officers, fire fighters, emergency medical service professionals, and veterans, at an event in Hillsborough County, where he also earned an endorsement from the National Coalition of Frontline Workers.
“Thanks to our frontline workers, Florida’s communities are ranked among the safest in the nation. They put their lives on the line to protect our people day in and day out,” Governor DeSantis said. “Frontline workers represent the best of Florida’s spirit. Following Hurricane Ian, they have tirelessly worked to save lives, restore communities, and get our state back on its feet. Florida has their back, and I am grateful for their support.”
Rick Sterl, President of National Coalition of Frontline Workers, said, “I am honored to stand with our Florida members of law enforcement, fire rescue, and healthcare workers across the state, who unanimously voted for our organization’s endorsement to re-elect Governor Ron DeSantis, the one who has our backs to ensure the safety, longevity and well-being for all Frontline Workers.”
