Crist’s “Together Florida Tour” Brings Campaign Bus Stops to Cities Across the State, Collecting Supplies for SWFL
In the wake of the devastation left behind by Hurricane Ian, Charlie Crist, candidate for governor of Florida, is announcing today the “Together Florida Bus Tour” – a new relief initiative that will see the Crist campaign bus travel to cities across Florida collecting supplies and basic necessities for Floridians in Southwest Florida who were hit hard by the hurricane.
The campaign bus, which was originally slated to travel Florida this week for campaign stops with Charlie and his Lt. Governor nominee, Karla Hernández, has already made stops in Gainesville and Pensacola and is expected to also make stops in Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Marianna, Palatka, and more.
Charlie will join the bus in St. Petersburg Friday afternoon to collect additional supplies before heading down to Southwest Florida.
“As our state continues to recover from Hurricane Ian, I am proud of our campaign’s efforts to put the people first and do all we can to lend a helping hand to our neighbors in need,” said Charlie Crist. “Florida needs to come together now more than ever as we recover and rebuild.”
“Our hearts and prayers remain with Floridians who have been impacted by Hurricane Ian,” said Karla Hernández. “Charlie and I are proud to be doing our part to ensure critical supplies like food, water, and diapers are reaching those in our state who need it most.”
