ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) will hold a town meeting in Davis County on Thursday, July 8 as part of his annual 99 county meetings.

“I’m happy we’ve returned to business as usual after an unprecedented year and I can continue hosting my town meetings,” Grassley said. “Representative government is a two-way street. I appreciate the opportunity to hold town meetings, answer questions and take comments from Iowans.”

This is Grassley’s 41st year of holding meetings in every one of Iowa’s 99 counties. Earlier this week, he participated in Q&As in Kossuth, Ida, Calhoun, Webster, Humboldt, Woodbury, Monona, Crawford, Sac and Carroll counties. Grassley has held at least one meeting in every county, every year since he was first elected to serve in the U.S. Senate. He takes and answers questions on any subject raised. Iowans set the agenda.

Grassley will be available for 15 minutes after each meeting to answer questions from local reporters. These town meetings are open to the public and media. Details for the upcoming meeting follow.
