Ron DeSantis for Governor: Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Three to the Hillsborough Community College District Board of Trustees

Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Arthur “Chip” Diehl III and the reappointment of Gregory Celestan and Brian Lametto to the Hillsborough Community College District Board of Trustees.

Arthur “Chip” Diehl III

Diehl is the Managing Director of Diehl & Associates. He served nearly 30 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Brigadier General. Diehl serves on the Board of Directors for the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority and is the Chair of the Florida Defense Support Task Force. He is also a member of the Airlift/Tanker Association and the United States Air Force Association. Diehl earned his bachelor’s degree from the United States Air Force Academy and his master’s degree from the University of Southern California.

Gregory Celestan

Celestan is the Chief Executive Officer and Owner of Celestar Corporation. He served nearly 20 years in the United States Army, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. Celestan serves on the Board of Directors for the Bank of Tampa. He is a board member for Tampa General Hospital. Celestan earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering and Russian studies from the United States Military Academy at West Point and his master’s degree in international affairs from the University of Washington.

Brian Lametto

Lametto is the Corporate Vice President of Operations at New York Life. He has held leadership positions with Progress Telecom, GTE, and Philip Morris International. Lametto earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Alabama.

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
