Today, Congressman Ken Calvert (CA-42) issued the following statement regarding on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II:
"For seven decades, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II demonstrated steadfast leadership and a firm resolve to see the people of England through times of crisis and extraordinary change. The Queen's grace, optimism, and compassion for people will always be remembered. I am thankful that the special bond between America and England remained strong throughout her long reign. My prayers are with the Royal Family and all of England."
