Governor Jared Polis Appoints Cynthia A. McKedy to Fourth Judicial District Court

Governor Jared Polis today announced the appointment of Cynthia A. McKedy to fill a judicial vacancy on the El Paso County Court in the 4th Judicial District. This judgeship is created by the retirement of the Honorable Doug Miles. The vacancy is effective February 27th, 2022.

Ms. McKedy previously served as Deputy District Attorney for the 4th Judicial District. Ms. McKedy is a Owner and Partner at Anaya McKedy, P.C., a position she has held since 2012. Previously, Ms. McKedy served as attorney at Anaya, Foley & McKedy, P.C; attorney at the Law Firm of Cynthia McKedy, P.C. Ms. McKedy earned her B.A. from the University of Colorado in 1993 and her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 1996.
