I am an American citizen and a follower of Jesus Christ.
However, I am an American Constitutionalist and NOT a Christian Nationalist.
“What is the difference,” you ask, “between an American Constitutionalist and a Christian Nationalist?”
It is like the difference between day and night.
An American Constitutionalist wants the United States government to reflect Constitutional laws, values, and identity.
A Christian Nationalist wants the United States government to reflect Christian laws, values, and identity.
You can be an American Constitutionalist while being a Jew who doesn’t believe Jesus is the Messiah.
You can be an American Constitutionalist while being a Muslim who believes in Allah.
You can be an American Constitutionalist while being a Native American who believes in a Great Spirit, or be a Sikh, a Bahai, or a person who simply believes in a Creator God and in Nature’s Laws and not be a part of any organized religion.
You don’t have to be a Christian to be an American Constitutionalist. You don’t even have to be religious to be an American Constitutionalist.
Belief in a Creator and the Laws of Nature, according to our Founding Fathers, is a PHILOSOPHICAL position that is required for good governance and the protection of a citizen’s Life, Liberty, and Property.
Though one can be an atheist and a citizen of the United States, a person cannot, as an atheist, take an oath of political office in the United States and TRUTHFULLY swear “to uphold and defend the Constitution from enemies, both foreign and domestic.”
An atheist does not believe in a Creator or the Laws of Nature, so the atheist would be lying when he swears “to uphold and defend the Constitution.”
America’s identity is built on the belief in a Creator God and adherence to the Laws of Nature.
The Constitution and the Declaration of Independence give us our uniquely American identity. We unite under the American Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution.
The Founding Fathers wrote the Declaration of Independence in 1776.
A dozen years later, our Founders established the governance of the United States by writing the U.S. Constitution, a document based on the Declaration’s principles.
The Founding Fathers never mentioned Jesus Christ or the Bible in our nation’s Founding Documents.
A philosophical change occurred in America during the 150 years between the Puritans and the Founding Fathers.
That change came through the Founders’ discovery and adherence to the writings of John Locke (1632-1704).
In his “Two Treatises of Government,” John Locke explains how the Creator endows all men with Natural Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Property.
Thomas Jefferson used Locke’s philosophy in writing the Declaration of Independence, changing the word property to “happiness,” as long as “later generations understood,” said Jefferson, “that securing a citizen’s right to personally own property leads to happiness.”
America was built on the Laws of Nature and the Rights that come from Nature’s God (e.g., Life, Liberty, and Happiness).
The Laws of Nature, not Christianity, are why states banned abortion until 1973. Look at Nature. You don’t see mothers intentionally killing their children or destroying their eggs for personal convenience.
The Laws of Nature, not Christianity, are why every state had sodomy laws until the 21st century. Look at Nature. You never see two steers copulating a calf.
The Laws of Nature, not Christianity, are why the government’s job is to protect private property. Having ownership of property is an inalienable right. Look at Nature. You never see a fox sharing its den with a hen.
The Founders established our government on the Laws of Nature and faith in Nature’s God, not Christianity.
Over time, violations of the Laws of Nature traveled the road among America’s people to toleration, acceptance, celebration, and finally, participation.
You only see confusion about what a male is and what a female is among rational human beings who become irrational and reject the Laws of Nature established by the Creator.
There’s no confusion in God’s Creation. Nature understands the Creator’s Laws and obeys them.
Over time, Americans have changed philosophically. Some now celebrate and participate in violations of Nature’s Laws.
But the Creator and the Laws of Nature have not changed. Nor has the Constitution.
In recent years, Presidents have wrongly politicized the Supreme Court, appointing people that “look like America.”
The Supreme Court should uphold the Law, not mirror the people.
Even if the majority begin to believe there is no Creator and that human beings are not called to obey Nature’s Laws, the American Republic can only exist by upholding the Rule of Law.
We, as citizens of the United States of America, unite around our Constitution.
Communism has no god. Secularism has no god. Humanism has no god.
People with no concept of God do whatever they please – or in time – whatever their tyrannical government demands.
For communists to take down the American Republic, they must destroy, replace, or get Americans to ignore the Constitution.
The United States Constitution teaches us that the Creator is God; His Laws of Nature instruct us, and our hope ought to be in Him.
The Laws of Nature are binding on all men. The purpose of good government is to secure the God-given rights of Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness (private property).
Contrary to the teaching of the Constitution, communist governments who act as if they are God will declare that government science is now the unquestionable law of the land and that a citizen’s hope should be in what the government can do for them.
A government that thinks it is a god will kill human life, will love tyranny (control), and will steal your property.
For the Republic of the United States to continue, we must return to adherence to the Laws of Nature and trust in Nature’s God.
We must unite around our Constitution or be divided as a nation.
The Supreme Court will soon overturn Roe v. Wade and uphold our Constitution and affirm the Rule of Law upon which our country was built. The inalienable Right to Life will be protected again by the United States government.
Those who respond by rioting, stealing, and destroying are enemies of the Creator, the Constitution, and the United States of America.
