Affordable and accessible childcare is a problem for every American family, including members of the Armed Forces.

  • Families are separating to care for their children.

  • Military members are leaving the service to take care of their families.

  • Others sacrifice and drive many miles, spending hours each day exhausting already stretched household budgets

Some Special Forces soldiers are struggling with lack of child care: "The family is being left behind" - CBS News

This is a national problem, but one I wish my opponent, Jack Bergman, would even acknowledge and attempt to resolve. We need to protect and promote our military families.

We need to preserve and promote all families. Jack Bergman, why are you silent about these issues? Speak up. Be heard. Work for us, not against us. Promote the general wellbeing of all Americans is enshrined in our constitution's preamble.

Do your job, or step aside.

We need leaders in Congress to solve problems and address national issues, including childcare, housing, health care, and much more. Saving our military families is a matter of national security.

Move over Bergman, and make room for someone who supports our military and their families. I may not have served in the military, but I have served my country — You Don’t Have to Wear a Military Uniform to Serve Your Country. I understand the needs of all families, military included. Unfortunately, our current Representative doesn’t.
