On Tuesday, August 2, Congressman Chris Pappas (NH-01), a member of the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee, joined state and local leaders to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Derry-Londonderry Exit 4A, which will construct a new interchange on I-93 in Londonderry.
"Smart investments in our infrastructure, including this project which I fought to move forward while serving on the Executive Council, improve safety, reduce traffic on local roads, and bolster our local economy, all while creating good-paying jobs," said Congressman Chris Pappas. "We know that every dollar we invest in infrastructure yields two dollars in economic activity, which is why I am proud to lead the fight for federal investment in New Hampshire's roads, bridges, and waterways as a member of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure."
As a member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, Pappas helped shape the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which is making investments in New Hampshire's roads, bridges, and transit, ensuring communities have access to clean water, expanding access to broadband, creating jobs, and bolstering New Hampshire's economy.
