His Campaign Said Wednesday That Barnes Will Embark On A 16-day Bus Tour That Includes 100 Stops Across The State.

The Tour Starts Oct. 24 In Green Bay And Includes An Oct. 29 Rally In Milwaukee Where Barnes And Other Top Democrats Will Appear At An Event Headlined By Former President Barack Obama.

Mandela has highlighted Ron Johnson’s record of turning his back on hard-working Wisconsinites.

A meet and greet visit to La Crosse by Lt. Governor Mandela Barnes on Thursday afternoon as part of his final campaign push for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Republican Ron Johnson.

Barnes met an enthusiastic crowd of supporters at Thrunie’s on Pearl Street. He delivered his message of “better is possible”, telling the crowd he’s the candidate focused on what working class people need now. He cited good paying jobs and affordable health care.

“We deserve more than Ron Johnson,” Barnes said. “He’s a person who’s sold out for 12 long years, leaving working people behind. His positions on abortion are too extreme and out of touch with the people of Wisconsin.”

Wisconsin Senator nominee Mandela Barnes made his way to downtown La Crosse.

The current lieutenant governor hosted a meet and greet at Thrunie’s to hear from community members and leaders about area issues.

“Ron Johnson has done nothing but serve himself in the interest of his wealthy donors of special interest since he’s been elected,” said Barnes. “The people in this state, especially the people of La Crosse are crying out for real representation. Somebody who’s gonna go to Washington D.C. and help make their lives better, not harder.”

Mandela held Ron Johnson accountable for his record attacking Social Security and Medicare while also reiterating his commitment to building a better Wisconsin.
