From October 4, 2022 post.

Today, Charlie Crist, candidate for governor of Florida, released a new ad holding Ron DeSantis accountable for his failed record, highlighting his abortion ban without exceptions for victims of rape or incest, an astounding $1 billion in tax increases, and the highest home insurance rates in the nation. Charlie’s digital ad, titled “Lower Costs,” started to run in media markets across the state today and is part of a $1.4 million dollar buy.

“Ron DeSantis wants to strip away your right to abortion, even for victims of rape or incest. He’s let home insurance rates skyrocket, and he’s raised taxes on Floridians by $1 billion,” says Crist in the ad. “When I was your governor, we reduced insurance rates by 10 percent and cut property taxes by over a billion dollars. I trust the women of Florida, and you can trust me to defend your freedom to choose, to take on big insurance companies, and to lower costs for you. Ron DeSantis won’t do it, I will.”
