Today, Charlie Crist, candidate for governor of Florida, released a powerful new digital ad holding Ron DeSantis responsible for the horrific tragedy of a middle school, incest survivor who was forced to flee Florida to receive abortion care due to DeSantis’s abortion ban that includes no exceptions for victims of rape or incest. Charlie’s digital ad, titled “Heartbreaking,” highlights this devastating story and puts a young, innocent face to Ron DeSantis’s heartless, anti-choice ban.

The ad closes with the following statement from Crist:
“This is Florida under Ron DeSantis, children forced to give birth to children. Ron DeSantis shouldn’t make abortion decisions. Women and doctors should.”
