Cites Crist’s Unshakable Dedication to Preserving Right to Abortion 

Today, with the Crist campaign’s “Choice Day of Action” underway, NARAL Pro-Choice America announced their endorsement of Charlie Crist to be the next governor of Florida in the fight to protect women’s rights from Ron DeSantis’s radical anti-choice agenda. 

The organization cited Charlie’s unshakable dedication to preserving abortion rights and lauded Crist’s committment to protect and defend the right to choose on day one of his future administration. 

“I’m honored to earn the endorsement of NARAL Pro-Choice America as we work to defeat Ron DeSantis and fight for abortion access all across the Sunshine State,” said Charlie Crist. “Make no mistake, women’s rights and reproductive freedoms are on the ballot in November. That’s why on day one as governor, I will sign an executive order protecting a woman’s right to choose and will fight like hell to protect reproductive freedom every single day.”

“If Gov. Ron DeSantis wins this November, he will do all that he can to completely ban abortion in Florida. Reproductive freedom is on the ballot this November, and Floridians deserve a proven leader like Charlie Crist who will safeguard and restore their fundamental rights,” said NARAL Pro-Choice America President Mini Timmaraju. “It’s time to hold MAGA extremists like Gov. DeSantis accountable, and we’ll be working alongside our members until Election Day to make it happen.”
