Statewide Ad Features Nurses Condemning DeSantis’s Abortion Ban as Campaign Hosts 8 Choice Events Across the State, Mobilizing 1000 Volunteers 

With abortion rights on the line, Charlie Crist, candidate for governor of Florida, launched a statewide “Choice Day of Action” to fire up and mobilize voters across the state ahead of the November elections.

Alongside the day of action the campaign is unveiling a new television ad, which will run in media markets across the state, featuring medical professionals blasting DeSantis for inserting himself into women’s healthcare decisions with his abortion ban while criminalizing doctors and nurses for offering care.

The campaign’s “Choice Day of Action” will see Charlie, Lt. Governor Nominee Karla Hernández, and surrogates and community leaders across the state participate in 8 different events across North, South, and Central Florida in an effort to keep DeSantis’s attacks on a woman’s right to choose at the forefront of the gubernatorial race.

Today will also see Crist and Hernández’s social media accounts solely focused on the fight for reproductive freedom and highlighting the heinous abortion ban signed into law by Ron DeSantis that includes no exceptions for victims of rape or incest.
