GenZ for Change Endorses Charlie Crist for Governor
Today, Charlie Crist, candidate for governor of Florida, joined national GenZ leaders Olivia Julianna and Jack Petocz alongside local elected officials for a “Choice is the Choice” rally to energize the youth vote across central Florida.
Crist was also joined by local leaders including Representative Anna Eskamani and gen z Congressional Candidate, Maxwell Frost to take the fight to Ron DeSantis for his anti-woman, anti-freedom agenda. During the event, Crist re-emphasized his promise to sign an executive order protecting a woman’s right to choose across Florida on day one of his future administration.
“I’m incredibly thankful for the support of all these remarkable and passionate youth leaders across the state and country who are energized to defend a woman’s right to choose in Florida,” said Charlie Crist. “Reproductive freedom is on the ballot. Women’s rights are on the ballot. Choice is on the ballot. Come November, Florida, and especially Florida’s young people, will make that loud and clear.”
“Charlie Crist is the reproductive freedom champion Florida needs right now,” said Olivia Julianna, GenZ and reproductive rights activist. “Generations of women before us have had more reproductive rights than we have right now — we have the power to change that. If Governor DeSantis is re-elected, he will ban abortion completely. If Charlie Crist is elected, he will sign an executive order protecting a woman’s right to choose on day one. The decision couldn’t be more clear. I encourage all my fellow young people who vote, to get out to the polls and make your voices heard this November.”
