Today, the National Security Leaders for America (NSL4A), a group of more than 500 retired senior leaders from the military and national security-related government agencies, announced their endorsement of Cheri Beasley for U.S. Senate.

“I’m a proud North Carolina resident and voter. I led Marines for over 28 years and later served as the Chief Deputy Auditor of our beloved state. So, I know what leadership looks like. It means someone whose moral compass always points true north and brings people together. Cheri Beasley is that kind of leader and will be an outstanding US Senator representing the people of North Carolina. She has my full and enthusiastic support,” said Brigadier General George Walls, US Marine Corps (Retired).

“I am proud to have the endorsement of the National Security Leaders of America, whose members have spent their lives in service of our country and democracy. In the Senate, I am committed to upholding the Constitution, keeping our communities safe, and protecting our freedoms just as I have as a former judge and Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court,” said Cheri Beasley.

While Cheri is committed to protecting our rights and upholding the Constitution, Congressman Budd has a history of election denying. He was vocal in his support of overturning the 2020 presidential election results, joining a lawsuit to overturn the results. Budd even looked to profit off the events of January 6th, sending a fundraising email the morning asking people to join him in standing up for “Free, Fair, and Integral Elections” and described the violent mob of insurrectionists as “just patriots standing up.”
