Yesterday, candidate for U.S. Senate Cheri Beasley held her final “For the People” Forum in Elizabeth City to speak to voters first hand about the issues most important to them. Cheri launched her “For the People” Forum series to reach voters across the state who had less access to the one U.S. Senate debate because Congressman Ted Budd refused a free statewide debate.
Cheri also held a community conversation cookout in Goldsboro to speak to voters across Wayne County about the importance of the election and encourage them to get out and vote.
“North Carolinians deserve a Senator who is ready to go to Congress and fight for hard working families and safe communities – not cozy up to corporate donors and play partisan politics. I am the only candidate in this race who will put the people first – every day, every time,” said Cheri Beasley.
Cheri launched her “For the People” Get Out the Vote Tour to reach voters across the state and encourage people to vote. She is continuing to meet with small business owners, hold community conversations on issues that matter to North Carolinians like lowering costs, supporting North Carolina’s farmers, and creating a Made-in-America economy, tour vocational and training facilities, and visit North Carolina companies.
