Shontel Brown for Congress announced the endorsement of the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC (CPC PAC) today. The monumental endorsement from the CPC PAC comes at the height of the incumbent’s May 3 Primary re-election campaign.
Since November, Rep. Brown has served as an active member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, and co-sponsored flagship progressive bills, including the Assault Weapons Ban of 2021, the Commission to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African-Americans Act, the Equal Access to Abortion Coverage in Health Insurance (EACH) Act, the Raise the Wage Act of 2021 and Medicare for All. Notably, ProgressivePunch ranks Rep. Brown as one of the most progressive members of the House of Representatives based on her voting record.
