Last week, as part of the “Moving Colorado Forward” bus tour, Democratic elected officials and candidates came together for campaign stops along I-70.

DENVER — With only 10 days remaining until Election Day, Michael and his fellow Democratic candidates in Colorado are fired up and working nonstop to ensure a Democratic victory on November 8.

On Tuesday of last week, the Moving Colorado Forward bus tour traveled west on I-70 to Grand Junction to rally support among voters in mountain towns and throughout the Western Slope before Michael’s first debate against his opponent, Joe O’Dea.

The first stops of the day on Tuesday were at the Lake Dillon Theater in Summit County and the Eagle Town Park in Eagle County, where supporters gathered to hear Michael and other Democratic candidates discuss their achievements for Colorado’s mountain towns and the importance of getting the vote out in the final weeks of this election.

After the event in Eagle, Michael traveled to Grand Junction, where he stopped by a rally outside Colorado Mesa University, before going to the first debate of the race between himself and his opponent.

During the debate, Michael proved that his strong record of delivering for the needs of our state is the reason Coloradans will reelect him this November.

On Wednesday of last week, the bus tour kicked off its morning under snowy skies on the Western Slope. The first stop of the day was in Aspen’s Paepcke Park, where voters trekked through several inches of snow to meet Michael and other Democratic candidates running for office. Adam Frisch, candidate for Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District also joined in on the fun.

THE SNOWY WEATHER DIDN’T STOP DEMOCRATS IN PITKIN COUNTY FROM TURNING OUT TO SHOW THEIR SUPPORT FOR DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES.

After the first event in Pitkin County, the bus made its way back East on I-70. The next stop of the day was at Idaho Springs, where Senator Cory Bookermet up with Colorado’s Democratic candidates to rally support. Since being in the Senate, Cory Booker has been a vocal advocate of Michael’s work to build an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top. He co-sponsored Michael’s expanded Child Tax Credit, which cut childhood poverty in half and reduced hunger across the US by more than a quarter last year.

Following the event in Idaho Springs, the bus traveled to Mountain Toad Brewing in Golden for another GOTV campaign event. A huge crowd turned out to hear Michael and Senator Booker speak about Democratic accomplishments in the past year and what’s at stake in this election.

“We are the richest country in the world, and it is intolerable that we have the third highest rate of child poverty in the industrialized world,” Michael told the crowd during his remarks at the event in Golden.

Michael, Senator Booker, and the rest of the candidates on the Moving Colorado Forward Bus Tour ended the day with a GOTV election rally at New Hope Baptist Church in Denver.

At the rally, Senator Booker urged people to vote for Colorado’s congressional delegation in the election and talked about his experience during the January 6th insurrection and the current threat to democracy.

HUNDREDS SHOWED UP TO THE EVENING EVENT ON WEDNESDAY AT THE NEW HOPE BAPTIST CHURCH IN DENVER.

“I’m telling you right now Colorado, the world is watching you. New Jersey is watching you, because if you turn back these congresspeople, and make sure they get elected, we can secure the dream. If Michael Bennet goes back to the Senate, we can secure the dream,” Senator Booker said in his remarks at the Denver rally.

Michael and his campaign aren’t slowing down in the final weeks of this election. Over the next 10 days, Michael and his fellow Democratic candidates will be attending dozens of events as part of the moving Colorado Forward bus tour, working to energize supporters and get out the vote.
