Yesterday, candidate for U.S. Senate Cheri Beasley brought her “For the People” Get Out the Vote Tour to Johnston, Vance, and Wilson Counties. Cheri visited a polling site in Johnston County, held a cookout in Vance County and a community conversation in Wilson County. Former Governor James Hunt and Carolyn Hunt came to the community conversation in Wilson County to show their support for Cheri.

“With only a few days left until Election Day, I’m going to keep meeting voters where they are and working hard for every vote. While Congressman Budd has hidden from voters and voted against our interests, I’m committed to standing with North Carolinians and putting the people first,” said Cheri Beasley.

North Carolinians can vote early through November 5. Election Day is November 8. Cheri launched her “For the People” Get Out the Vote Tour in the final weeks of the campaign to reach voters across the state and encourage people to vote. She is continuing to meet with small business owners, hold community conversations on issues that matter to North Carolinians like lowering costs, supporting North Carolina’s farmers, and creating a Made-in-America economy, tour vocational and training facilities, and visit North Carolina companies.
