On State of the Race "I've been across the entire state and we're talking to people about what's important. We're talking about inflation. We're talking about this economy. People are feeling it right now. They've lost 10% of their buying power over the course of the last year because we've got Democrats like Michael Bennet, and Joe Biden, that are just completely out-of-touch. You know, $5 trillion in the market over a year and a half, that's put a lot of pressure on people. Groceries are at an all time high gas, diesel's never come down — people are feeling the pinch. We've got our heating bills coming at us this year. They're telling us they're gonna be up by 50% and people are feeling it... I heard the other day that 60% of the people going into grocery stores right now are buying less food because they have to. That's a pinch. And that's why I'm in this race."On Fighting for Colorado"I'm not a party guy, man. I'm gonna put America first. This race is about Colorado. We've got a guy that hasn't made great decisions for Colorado. He hasn't done anything. He's a do-nothing Senator. He's been there 13 years. And if you look at the state of our economy, if you look at the state of crime here, Colorado has got a 30% hike in crime. We've got fentanyl coming across the border that he could have closed. He's been absent from that. He hasn't done anything down at the border. It's an enormous gap in the policies that we need here. When I talk to the cops up here, they're talking about this border and the crime. And these guys have just been absent."On Joe's Life Experiences"Well, look, I've been focused on on the economy. Thirty five years in the construction business, I know how to sign the front of the check. I know how to make sure you balance your checkbook. I know how to make sure that you balance your budget. And those are things that obviously Bennet and Biden don't know how to do. I'm going to use that skillset. I've also been in you know, in a role of a CEO where you have to negotiate. Obviously, Michael Bennet can't negotiate because he's been a rubber stamp for his party for the entire time that he's been in the Congress. And so I'm going to use that skill as well. This economy is in in dire straits, and we need people that will step up, get our energy policy back in tact, so we can start to reduce the cost of fuels here in America and make sure that we go back to work. And until we get that done, we're gonna see this inflation eat people up, and that's why I got in this race."
