Golden, CO-- Laurel Imer issues statement on Tom Tancredo's Stage 3 Colon Cancer diagnosis that was recently announced to the public:

"As many of you may know, my dear friend, ally, and republican comrade, Former Congressman Tom Tancredo has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer.

My team and I have been aware of this for many months and have been respecting Tom's privacy during this time. However, now that his diagnosis has been made public I felt that it was time I said something about my friend.

Tom and I have been fighting together to Save Colorado, America, and secure the southern border for decades. I have supported him in his runs for Governor and President in the past and still support him today especially while he undergoes chemotherapy.

Tom has endorsed me in the 7 Congressional district race and I could not be more grateful for his support. During this time in Tom's life, it is important that we all come together and support him and his family whether that is through Prayer, logistical support, or even financial support.

Tom has asked for privacy during this time and he is in good spirits and is expected to make a full recovery. I am sure that I speak on behalf of all the candidates that Tom has endorsed when I say, Tom, We love you, we are praying for you, we are here for you and we wish you a speedy recovery and many more years of kicking democrat ass!"
