From January  26, 2022 post.

“Justice Breyer has built an impressive legacy on the Supreme Court, including key votes to uphold a woman’s right to choose her own destiny and ensure that the Affordable Care Act remains the law of the land. In light of his expected retirement, I am reflecting on how he has approached his time on the bench, believing firmly that the Constitution must protect Americans’ fundamental freedoms and ability to participate as full citizens in our democracy. His service on the Court has reflected his steadfast commitment to our country, and our democracy is stronger thanks to his many years on the bench. When the time comes, I will review President Biden's next Supreme Court nominee as part of the Senate's confirmation process.”
