Shaheen, Hassan Applaud Nomination of Jane Young for U.S. Attorney of New Hampshire

Today, U.S. Senators Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) and Maggie Hassan (D-NH) released the following statements in support of Jane Young’s nomination as U.S. Attorney for the District of New Hampshire:  

  

“I want to congratulate Ms. Jane Young on her nomination by President Biden to serve as the U.S. Attorney for the District of New Hampshire,” said Senator Shaheen. “Ms. Young is a deeply committed public servant and seasoned attorney with experience at the state and federal levels. As a New Hampshire native, I have no doubt that she will channel her expertise to ensure that federal prosecutors are meeting the needs of the Granite State. I look forward to seeing her nomination advance and voting in support of her confirmation.” 

 

“Jane Young will make a strong U.S. Attorney for the District of New Hampshire. She has spent her career investigating and prosecuting criminals and has earned a reputation that few in her field can match. As Governor in particular, I saw up close the skill and expertise Ms. Young brings to her job and I know that she will continue to serve the Granite State with distinction in this new role. I applaud President Biden on this excellent choice and encourage my colleagues to confirm her without delay,” said Senator Hassan.
