From December  22, 2021 post.

U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan yesterday joined the New Hampshire Food Bank’s mobile food pantry distribution in Laconia.

“The holiday season is always an important time to help our neighbors, and the New Hampshire Food Bank does vital work to ensure that Granite Staters experiencing food insecurity have access to high-quality, nutritional meals,” said Senator Hassan. “Staff and volunteers for New Hampshire Food Bank represent the very best of our state, where we come together and support our communities, and I was glad to join their dedicated efforts.”

Senator Hassan is working to support Granite Staters amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Senator Hassan and colleagues passed into law the American Rescue Plan in March to help increase vaccinations, cut costs for Granite State families, and support small businesses. Last month, Senator Hassan joined the congressional delegation in announcing additional federal funding to help low-income Granite Staters pay their energy bills as temperatures begin to drop this winter.
