Marco Gets Things Done for Veterans:
- Created accountability at the Department of Veterans Affairs through the Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act to ensure that bad employees are fired and whistleblowers are protected.
- Fought for veterans exposed to toxic burn pits to have access to the care they need through the VA, creating a presumption of benefits.
- Helped veterans re-enter the workforce by creating the Veterans in STEM Careers Act.
- Created the Veterans’ Education, Transition, and Opportunity Prioritization Plan (VET OPP) Act to prioritize veteran’s transition to the VA by modernizing its outdated structure.
