In this episode of A Voice for Rural America, Rep. Earl L. "Buddy" Carter (R-GA) and Georgia State Senator Russ Goodman joined Chairman Dan Newhouse (R-WA) to discuss how Congress can work to improve federal disaster relief included in the Farm Bill and how these relief funds can impact farmers throughout the United States. They outlined how relief programs can help secure America's food supply chain by helping producers recover from natural disasters, like a recent freeze that devastated Georgia's blueberry crop.

A Voice for Rural America is a podcast from the Congressional Western Caucus. Chairman Newhouse invites fellow Western Caucus Members, industry leaders, and experts to discuss issues important to western and rural America.
