Rep. Earl L. “Buddy” Carter (R-GA) welcomed the Hyundai Motor Group to Bryan County, Georgia following today’s groundbreaking of their latest electric vehicle manufacturing plant, a $5.54 billion investment that will create more than 8,100 jobs in Georgia:

“We are excited to have a new neighbor here in the First District. This is the largest investment in the state of Georgia’s history, one that will diversify and expand our economy while providing strong job opportunities for Georgians today and for generations to come,” said Rep. Carter. “Georgia is the #1 state in the nation for doing business because we’ve rolled back burdensome regulations, and today the results of pro-business policymaking speak for themselves.”
