NEW HAMPSHIRE – U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan released the following statement ahead of Veterans Day:
“Every year, we come together on Veterans Day to show our profound respect and to honor those who courageously fought to defend freedom. Veterans have selflessly answered the call to serve their fellow citizens -- both during their time in uniform and through their efforts to give back to their communities after they return home. Their valiant efforts and their strong love of country is something that should inspire every American. We must all continue to reflect on and recommit ourselves to the values that all veterans have fought for -- values that put country, liberty, and justice first.”
