U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) today slammed the Biden administration’s border policies. Ernst stated that the Biden administration’s plans to lift Title 42 would create even more chaos at the Southern border, including an estimated 18,000 encounters per day, almost double the population of Ernst’s home county, Montgomery County, Iowa. Ernst called the influx of illegal immigrants “an absolute national security disaster on our hands” and urged the administration to rethink their decision on Title 42 and to secure the Southern border.
