The Biden administration is releasing 10-15 million more barrels of oil from the emergency reserves in pathetic and despicable attempt to lower gas prices temporarily to avoid brutal losses in the midterms.
Bloomberg News reporter Jennifer Jacobs broke the story:
Additionally, Biden may restrict fuel exports in an attempt to keep more energy inside the US. They are expected to proceed on this policy after the midterm elections. As of right now, the US has the lowest inventory of diesel in their reserves since 1982.
“The price of gas is still too high and we need to keep working to bring it down,” Biden said while campaigning last week in Los Angeles.
