As Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate Tim Michels holds five grassroots rallies on the final full day of his gubernatorial campaign, he closes the night in the southeastern Wisconsin city that marked one of Governor Tony Evers’ biggest, and most public, failures: Kenosha.

“From COVID to Kenosha, Tony Evers has been a terrible governor. His instincts are terrible and his policies are even worse,” said Michels, an Army veteran and successful Wisconsin business leader. “Wisconsin families and communities will be safer when I am governor – I’m not going to go on a parole spree that sends murders and rapists out of prison early, and I will never let a city like Kenosha burn.”

Prior to Monday night’s Kenosha 7:00 pm rally at the Brat Stop, Michels will be holding events in Green Bay, Wausau, Eau Claire and La Crosse.

“I will be a governor that cares for the entire state of Wisconsin,” Michels pledged. “This campaign has been a wonderful conversation with voters and I’m looking forward to Monday, Tuesday, and beyond.”
