Last night, Representative Mike Garcia (CA-25) held a Town Hall at the College of the Canyons Performing Arts Center with over 200 people in attendance. Garcia provided an overview of his work in Congress, then answered questions from the public for over an hour.

“While we may not all agree, we are all Americans. This is what American democracy is supposed to be. It’s supposed to be civil discourse, debating important measures, going back and forth,” said Garcia. “If you’re making assertions, it’s important to be able to substantiate that. Not make it personal, not make it emotional.”
Garcia also explained the reasoning behind many of his high-visibility votes. Being accessible to the constituents of California’s 25th District is his top priority and Garcia looks forward to hosting another Town Hall soon.
