Rep. French Hill (AR-02) issued the following statement after the passing of former U.S. Senator John Warner, who served the state of Virginia from 1979 to 2009.
"During my two years as a Senate staffer, I had the pleasure of knowing and serving with Senator John Warner. He was a dear friend of my then boss, Senator John Tower of Texas. Senator Warner was loved by his colleagues and the staff alike. He was devoted to his nation and, particularly the U.S. Navy. He will be missed by family, friends, and his countrymen."
